Card of the Week and Best of the Blogosphere: November 15 - 21, 2008
Card of the Week: Groom's Card by Jerri Jimenez from A Touch of Grace

I didn't know about Jerri's blog until someone shot me an email. WOW. You guys rock. Without you, I wouldn't have found this GEM of a card. Jerri is absolutely amazing. She made this gorgeous, very detailed card, without a template! Can you believe it?! Run on over to her blog -- she has a bride card, other wedding cards ... just so many beautiful things all in one spot!
Runner Up: Sweet Dreams Christmas Dress by Heidi Blankenship from Embellished Dreams

This week seemed to be all about shaped cards - really insanely lovely, very detailed, shaped cards. Check out Heidi's card -- all the detail - lace on the sleeves, pearls on the neckline, scallops on the bottom, etc. -- and it's a card -- it opens! I don't think I could bring myself to write on anything this beautiful. Click on over to Heidi's blog to see the inside pictures and some close ups.
Runner Up: Christmas Trees by Kittie Caracciolo from Kittie Kraft
I have to tell you that this is one of those cards I would LOVE to be able to recreate. I love all the colors in the background and the soft snowflakes falling in the trees. It's so beautiful -- I really do feel like I'm looking at a painting. I would frame this one -- I think we should all leave Kittie a comment letting her know she should do a tutorial on this. So pretty.
Craft of the Week: Thanksgiving Favor by Cathy St. Clair from Paper Garden

I'm waiting for my invitation to Cathy's house for Thanksgiving. It's going to be beautiful. I just know it. I would love to sit down at a table done up like this. I have some old piping bags, I think I may try to make a version of this -- I just love the idea -- very welcoming and fun. Everyone likes to get a present! Click on over to Cathy's blog to see the recipe for this table favor :D
Runner Up: Christmas Candles by Julie Buhler from Paper Pleasing Ideas
I just think this is lovely -- and really, if you have the candle holder, this would be a snap to put together! This is vellum, stamped all in brown, and then slid into a special candle holder that keeps the paper from the flame. Seriously, this would be one of those things you could decorate for every season in a snap. So clever. Love ideas like this. For all the details, click on over to Julie's blog :D
Now, onto the Best of the Blogosphere lists. Remember these lovely little boxes don't show up in Google Reader, so if you can't see them, click on over to my site and they will magically appear.
