Scrapbook Page of the Week
Scrapbook Page of the Week: First Steps by Lauren at My Time, My Creations, My Stampendence
Lauren says that she doesn't scrapbook. In fact, this page is actually a card for this little girl's doctor as a thank you for finishing out chemo treatments. It's been my opinion that a scrapbook is a living journal that you share. This page definitely fits that description. I love it. It tells the entire story in a glance and it's a beautifully well done, moving tribute to a little girl, her doctor, and her journey. I'd put it in a scrapbook. I'd frame it on my wall. Face it, Lauren, you're good at everything.
Runner Up: Dear World by Erika at Stampin' Mama
Erika's beautiful boy has Autism. Being online buddies with Erika has already opened my eyes to the struggles and triumphs that accompany having a child with a disability. I love how Erika shares all of this in this one powerful page. I've also decided that since Erika is on several design teams, does traveling workshops and weekend retreats, writes for an online publication, and many other things, that she must NEVER SLEEP!
